Basic Job Functions:
Nucor Steel Gallatin is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Processing Manager. The Processing Manager is responsible for the leadership and strategic operation of a state-of-the-art Pickle/Galvanizing Line, Push/Pull Pickle Line and all post mill processing at third party servicers totaling over 2 million tons at full capacity and capability.
This person will be responsible for the results, leadership, strategy and oversight of the teams as well as all aspects of post processing. This includes, but is not limited to, developing, and executing our strategic post processing plan, being a team leader in the Sheet Group and working closely with other departments to fulfill the division strategy. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Five years combined experience in operational and/or commercial leadership
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Operational and commercial leadership experience in steel and/or manufacturing
