Location: Wilkes-Barre, PA
Salary: $120,000-$130,000
Description: Judge Direct Placement is seeking a degreed Procurement Manager in Wilkes-Barre, PA area! The qualified candidate will be responsible for indirect spend and overseeing the procurement of raw materials.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the sale and purchase of materials
- Negotiate sales and routine purchases
- Train plant leaders to maximize the value of commodities
- Adjust shipping/purchasing schedules to increase in house storage and save transportation expenses Communicate with the finance department for recordkeeping and payment of goods and services Work with QA to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Provide performance results by supplier for Supply Chain records
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 3+ years experience purchasing raw materials and indirect services
- Strong analytical skills
- MS Excel proficient
- Commodity trading/business analytics
- Commodity pricing
