JOB SUMMARY: Directsand coordinates activities of all Programs Procurement personnel engaged in IntegratedPrograms Team (IPT) program management in support of manufacturing operations.This includes programs oversight of program delivery and quality of directmaterials, raw materials, equipment, machinery, and supplies required tosupport plant activities, production, and aftermarket needs. Responsiblefor a team of Programs Procurement program leaders who engage incross-functional IPT membership, Configuration Control Board (CCB) and make-buyengagement, Program Kit Fill Rate, Days Payable Outstanding and DefectiveMaterial Report processing, as well managing each Program's long-lead Bill ofMaterial.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Lead the Supply Chain Programs Procurement team. In this role, the leader will be responsible to develop and implement Program Procurement strategies for Cabin Solutions product and services in order to optimize and protect the supply chain, deliver best value (total landed cost) while maintaining quality, cost, delivery and responsiveness objectives. This leader will also engage, influence and direct cross-functional stakeholders during program development and execution, including responsibility to engage in Integrated Programs Teams and Supply Chain leadership team as business needs arise.
  • Develop strong relationships with and actively engage senior leaders within Supply Chain, Operations, Program Management, Engineering, Quality, Finance, Sales, and the Cabin Solutions Senior Leadership Team
  • Assess Program proposal and execution risk, identify and resolve conflicts, and develop contingency and mitigation plans to deliver program deliverables on schedule, and compliant with internal and Customer requirements. Facilitate program communication, interaction and flow with all stakeholders from a SC perspective
  • Confers with Integrated Programs Team to provide technical advice and to solve problems
  • Provides strong leadership to senior Supply Chain team including employee development and performance management
  • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of procurement basics, ethical business conduct, legal and contractual principles, and protection of HAECO, supplier and customer proprietary data by complying with company policies, procedures and accepted business practices
  • Works closely with the operations team to support program needs for both OEM and aftermarket Customers
  • Foster increased productivity and advancement opportunities by personal commitment to professional development and by practicing continuous improvement of processes
  • Responsible for oversight and delivery execution of all Programs requirements and Procurement personnel.
  • Responsible for coordinating with materials, operations, engineering, finance, quality, and field operations to complete projects and achieve expected benefits within project timeline
  • Will work with cross-functional teams to build and execute project implementation plans for productivity and continuous improvement projects

  • Will partner with teams to assist with projects charter, benefits, and resource requirements; Will serve as an active participant in business unit productivity gate reviews ensuring required cross-functional resources are allocated to execute projects as outlined
  • Responsible for monitoring active projects, updating status, eliminating roadblocks, and escalating issues as appropriate
  • Will investigate, coordinate, and communicate project changes; will create and make revisions to project schedules, business cases, risk assessments and other project management tools; will create and conduct presentations for project approvals and monthly status
  • Will identify gaps to goals and collaboratively develop and support countermeasures and activities to close the gap and exceed targets
  • Will coordinate continuous improvement and margin enhancement initiative sessions and generate and evaluate new ideas and opportunities aligned with Business Unit priorities and strategies
  • Implement and track cost savings, spending compliance and variances and prepare reports on those efforts for Senior Management.
  • Carry out managerial responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
  • Responsible for interviewing, hiring, and training department employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Must have proven experience driving cost reduction

    ACCOUNTABILITIES:

    JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

    MINIMUM

    1.Bachelor'sdegree and 15 years of Supply Chain experience or an equivalent combination ofan advanced degree and professional experience including direct staffleadership experience

    2.Extensiveexperience in aerospace supply chain and programs procurement, and programmanagement

    3.Soundunderstanding of business agreements and general business practices

    4.Ability tomanage multiple work assignments and meet critical deadlines

    5.Highintegrity and an unyielding commitment to compliance

    6.Strongunderstanding of Supply Chain and related processes required

    7.Demonstratedability to build credibility with, interact with, and influence external andinternal Customers, and key stakeholders in a matrixed organization; ability tobuild strong relationships

    8.Excellentwritten and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicateeffectively with internal stakeholders at all levels of the organization

    9.Demonstratedability to deliver results in a highly regulated manufacturing environment,especially in the aerospace industry

    10.Wellorganized with solid judgment; able to multitask and adjust to changingpriorities

    11.Strongpresentation, communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact withinternal and external stakeholders including Senior Leadership

    PREFERRED

    1.Knowledgeof ERP systems (Epicor preferred)

    2.Workingexperience with Aircraft OEMs (i.e. Boeing or Airbus), Aircraft OEM suppliers,and/or airline customers for existing and new product development

    3.Workingknowledge of aerospace interior components a plus

    4.Workingknowledge of composites, plastics, metals and soft goods a plus

    5.Provenexperience using cost reduction and process optimization tools such as Designfor x (manufacturability, cost, etc), Six Sigma (Black Belt preferred)

    PHYSICALREQUIREMENTS:

    •Normaloffice environment where approximately 80% of work is performed in a sittingposition with the remaining time walking and moving around the office area,Stores area and Hanger area.

    •Filingduties require typical bending, stooping, reaching, stretching, etc.

    •Normalmental and visual attention along with manual coordination for keyboardoperations is necessary approximately 50% of the time.

    •Normal orcorrected hearing and vision are required.

    •Must beable to lift and carry 15 lbs.

    •Must beable to work assigned schedule with minimal absences
