Key Responsibilities
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

Provide strong and varied support to Procurement team, internal stakeholders, and suppliers, with a focus on ownership of critical contract and category management tasks to ensure awareness and compliance across the company, as well as driving sourcing strategies and suppler negotiations to deliver optimal value from our 3rd party spend.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* The Procurement lead contact for several functions and related suppliers, providing procurement, negotiation and contract management subject matter expertise to relevant stakeholders and suppliers
* The Procurement lead contact for the creation, negotiation and finalization of contractual documents (MSAs, Work Orders, Change Orders) for various departments in a timely manner, using the pre-approved Immunocore templates where appropriate
* The Procurement lead for RFPs across various stakeholder functions, ensuring Procurement input is provided and sourcing process followed so that the best value proposal is selected as winning bidder and communication to all bidder participants is timely and appropriately consistent
* Collaborate closely with stakeholders to agree and implement optimal sourcing strategies, leveraging spend through fewer sources of supply to generate maximum value wherever appropriate
* Contribute to corporate savings pipeline by identifying new efficiency opportunities (including new supplier identification) and driving projects to swift, successful and sustainable implementation
* Proactive engagement with key stakeholders to ensure business strategy is understood, contract requirements are anticipated, and contract executions are effectively progressed in a timely manner
* Contribute to 'insource vs outsource' strategy initiatives
* Anticipate and appropriately mitigate potential supply or supplier sourcing risks
* Support accurate and timely completion of 'Super Shopper' tasks when required, being sufficiently knowledgeable about systems to educate stakeholders, suppliers and coach Super Shoppers on key process steps and why appropriate adherence is required
* Develop proficiency in Netsuite and Agiloft reporting functionality and run / cascade reports at an appropriate frequency to ensure data required for stakeholder and supplier meetings is gathered in a timely and complete manner
* Be a positive advocate for corporate compliance initiatives and contract management process enhancements with relevant stakeholders and suppliers
* Act as a role model for the application of relevant corporate policies and procedures, and adhere to compliance and process requirements
* Work closely with the Procurement Director to enhance Procurement department infrastructure
* Proactive identification and implementation ownership for process efficiency opportunities to accelerate contract review and supplier negotiation steps

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Experience & Knowledge

Essential

* Procurement experience ideally at a Global Category or Procurement Manager level
* Experience negotiating with Global suppliers and influencing geographically dispersed stakeholders
* Experience of working in or closely with international companies, ideally with a US presence
* Evidence of continuous improvement mentality with demonstrable success in improving and transforming processes, including effective leverage of technology
* Evidence of credibility with management and external stakeholders
* Evidence of leading strategic sourcing initiatives with cross-functional teams
* Experience working in roles that require proactive identification and implementation of process improvement opportunities
* Comfortable with simultaneously managing multiple requests from different departments and/or suppliers
* Excellent communication skills
* Proficient in use of standard Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PPT)

Desirable
* Experience of Agiloft and/or Netsuite software

Education & qualifications

Essential
* 10+ years of relevant work experience
* Highly proficient computer skills, competent in the core Microsoft Office modules
