CUMULUS MEDIA | Westwood One - New York has an immediate opening for a part time Producer to support the Mark Levin Show. The Producer is an integral part of of the show to assist with the production of the program, including call screening, social media posting, podcast and archive uploading, and other responsibilities as needed.

The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of and passion for conservative talk radio and conservative political media. Must be able to multitask and handle a fast-paced working environment. Candidate should be detail-oriented, prompt and reliable. Must thrive on working as part of a team and respond well to direction. Excellent writing and storytelling skills. One to three years' experience producing a medium or major market talk program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Running a broadcast board for a live syndicated radio program within the show clock
• Monitor the technical quality and accuracy of incoming and outgoing on-air programming
• Regulate timing of the program
• Operate the delay system to ensure that inappropriate language does not get on the air
• Intensive call screening to put the host in touch with only the best callers
• Contributing to content prep, edit audio, production, and other duties related to the show
• Guest booking
• Update and maintain website/social media sites
• Must be able to multitask

Job Requirements
Qualifications:

• At least 1 year experience in the same/similar position in a mid- to major radio market
• Available to work 1-9 PM as needed, on a fill in basis
• Strong understanding of and passion for conservative politics and conservative talk radio
• Familiarity with automation systems, OpX a plus
• Proficient in audio editing software like Adobe Audition
• Time management and attention to detail
• Must be able to work holidays
• Ability to work local board shifts for syndicated program when necessary
• Dependability and reliability a must
