As a Product Manager you are responsible for a variety of activities in planning, developing and coordinating marketing efforts for Intrado's next generation Virtual Events platform. You will work with customers, business unit, architects and software engineering to define product offerings and requirements. This product is a blank slate and gives an experienced Product Manager the opportunity to innovate and elevate our virtual event solution for our customers.

Day to day responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Define and communicate the product strategy to stakeholders
  • Own the product roadmap and development prioritizations
  • Communicate product needs and direction to the product development team
  • Partner with Marketing to create product collateral and presentations to support sales efforts
  • Continually evaluate and improve product offerings based on sales needs / customer requests
  • Manage and conduct user interviews / focus groups to drive product improvements
  • Work with UX Design to define and ensure the best user experience
  • Collaborate with business analysts to create a detailed requirements backlog
  • Own the product management function throughout the software product development lifecycle
  • Other duties as assigned


Minimum Qualifications

Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field required, however work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirements
  • Certified Product Manager or Agile certifications preferred, but not required


Experience and Technical Skills
  • 6+ years of software product management or software marketing experience required
  • Demonstrated experience working with collaboration, webcasting, video applications or digital media (streaming media, social media or mobile apps)
  • Hands-on experience leading a launch of a brand new product
  • Hands-on experience managing all stages of the product life cycle
  • Technical background with knowledge of software development and web technologies
  • Strong knowledge in the Microsoft Product Suite
  • Strong organizational and presentation skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire partners and stakeholders to drive collaboration and alignment
  • Able to navigate ambiguity and changing priorities while proactively defining solutions for the business
