Position Summary: SpaceIQ's Sales Enablement organization is working to further expand its product marketing capabilities to effectively connect our overall product strategy to Sales and Marketing tactics that are key to driving growth and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will be an exceptional evangelist for our workplace products, while playing role in the product and feature launches that expand the capabilities of the entire solution set. Through research and the review of market evidence the Product Marketing Manager will help create positioning and messaging that resonates with buyers and empowers our sales channels to be successful.

Over time, this individual will become one of the most knowledgeable resources on key SpaceIQ competitors. They will be able to help the entire company understand what competitors are doing currently with products and features, as well as provide insight into pricing models/strategies and future product development strategies.

In addition to supporting Sales content and messaging, the Product Marketing Manager may collaborate with our demand generation resources to help create innovative programs that drive demand. As part of this process, review of program performance metrics and KPIs will be key to determining the efficacy of various tactics.

Finally, attention to detail and eye for quality will be critical to the success of this position.

Essential Functions/Primary Duties:

  • Understand the competitive landscape- maintain data on the SpaceIQ competitors and develop insights from that information to help develop messaging and value propositions that highlight the value of our workplace solutions.
  • Develop and maintain detailed buyer personas to help guide the creation of marketing content, collateral, sales presentations, and other content.
  • Collaborate with product management and marketing communications to develop product positioning and messaging that resonate with our target buyer personas.
  • Lead the development of sales tools including internal selling guides, external product collateral, presentations and more.
  • Equip our sales teams to position our product suite effectively, fueling the growth of our platform
  • Function as a key interface between Sales and Product Management by helping to translate detailed product roadmapsto provide direct and channel sales resources with exact details what is being developed and when it is expected to be available.
  • Own the product launch planning process for key features and entirely new products and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan.
  • Maintain the content library in our sales enablement tool to ensure company resources have access to the most current collateral and sales tools.

Skills and Experience:
  • 3 - 5+ years of product marketing experience ( g. g. Delivering presentations to customers and prospects, conducting competitor analysis and market research)
  • Proficient in productivity applications such as Microsoft Office, Microsoft Projector Basecamp.
  • Comfortable using collaboration and CRM tools such as Slack and Salesforce.
  • Familiar with marketing automation tools such as Marketo, Pardot and Omniture, and Google Analytics.
  • Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams and third parties.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to balance business and strategy competencies with detailed product and feature knowledge.
  • Ability to coordinate and execute multiple projects

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in business or marketing; MBA preferred.
  • Pragmatic Institute Certified (PMC) III a plus
