TPO Production Operator - Nights - B Shift

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Production Operator to join our production team in Tooele, UT.

Hourly Wage: $25.00

Schedule: Monday to Thursday 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

The production operator will assist in the production of Single ply TPO membrane to published specifications. Tasks include operation of HMI panel, Winder, and Packaging Line. Knowledge of processing specifications, operation of production equipment (Feeders, Dies, Extruders, Printer, Menzel, Lantech wrappers, Slitters, Granulator) Operation of forklifts and quality inspection of the sheet.

Job Responsibilities:

* Operate all equipment within the area
* Set up equipment in the work area and produce product following processing specification
* Inspect product for quality assurance
* Label product
* Maintaining a clean work environment
* Proper forklift operation
* Proper daily cleaning of machinery

Job Requirements:

* High school diploma/GED equivalent strongly preferred
* Ability to lift 50 pounds
* Ability to operate a forklift preferred
* Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check, drug screening, education verification (if applicable), reference check, and physical abilities test (PAT).

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:

This position conducts their work in a manufacturing environment with some exposure to the outdoors; there is exposure to loud machinery, fumes, odors, and dust. Typical hours areMonday through Thursday 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, with possible overtime and weekend work required. Business is cyclical and will require flexibility in shift hours and days of the week worked.

For this position, it is required to be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently. There is a repetitive use of hands required with simple grasping and pushing and pulling constantly up to 50 pounds.

In addition this position requires the following abilities: Standing, Walking, Lifting, Reaching above shoulders, Bending and Twisting.
