The Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift will be responsible for directing and coordinating manufacturing operations at our manufacturing facility in Brownsville, TX.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Accomplish manufacturing results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees, developing personal growth opportunities.
• Maintain work flow by monitoring steps of the process; setting processing variables; observing control points and equipment; monitoring personnel and resources; studying methods; implementing cost reductions; developing reporting procedures and systems; facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process control points; initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments.
• Complete production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems; reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries.
• Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
• Ensure operation of equipment by calling for repairs; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
• Provide manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data; answering questions and responding to requests.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Resolve personnel problems by analyzing data; investigating issues; identifying solutions; recommending action.
• Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Read work orders to ensure that work order is correctly done making sure that measurements, materials are correctly.

Qualifications Include:

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering/or Technical Degree.
• 2-5 years of supervisory experience required
• Bilingual English/Spanish 100%. Ability to identify defects. Good organizational skills, positive attitude. Ability to work in fast paced environment with little direct supervision.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel and Word)
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds and bend, kneel, reach, sit, stand and walk frequently
• Willingness to work overtime as necessary
