Description: The Judge Group has partnered with a manufacturing client in the Greater Lafayette area to find a production supervisor for their team. This is a role on 1st Shift with a great team and plenty of leadership responsibility.
This job will have the following responsibilities:
- The Production Supervisor directly supervises production employees to maximize productivity on assigned shifts and areas. This includes planning, assigning and directing work, coordinating Meetings, addressing product and employee complaints, and resolving problems.
- Ensures proper procedures are in place for production efficiency, quality of product, employee safety, state and federal guidelines.
- Recommends improvements to production methods, equipment performance and quality of product.
- Collaboration with Quality, Warehouse, Maintenance, Production, and HR Departments
- High School Diploma
- Previous experience in metals manufacturing
