Description:
Our client is currently seeking PRODUCTION SUPERVISORS for their manufacturing facility in the Wilmington, NC area
This job will have the following responsibilities:
- Responsible for the supervision, coaching and leading of the production lines.
- Work side by side with Human Resources for hiring, retention and discipline of employees
- Responsible for leading and teaching Continuous Improvement activities to improve manufacturing processes and reduce waste.
- Encourage a continuous improvement environment by promoting new ideas and institutionalize 5S and other Continuous Improvement Tools
- Bachelor's Degree is preferred but will consider additional experience in lieu of a degree
- Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus.
- FDA or USDA Experience is a plus
- 2+ years of supervisory experience in food manufacturing
- Some formal Continuous Improvement / Lean Manufacturing experience is a plus
