JOB SUMMARY: 2nd Shift
The Muntin bar assembler is responsible for putting a strip of aluminum separating and holding panes of glass in a window. This role is in charge of putting the muntins between adjoining window units. The Muntins are the narrow strips that divide the individual pane of glass in a traditional sash.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Comply with Boral Safety Policies
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Assembles units or parts and positions fastens and aligns units to assemblies by using various hand and power tools
- Aligns parts properly
- Follow assembly process requirements
- Software and computer skills knowledge
- Operate in an SAP environment
- Perform other duties and responsibilities requested by the supervisor
- Performs operations on machinery according to schedule
- Regular attendance, timeliness, and scheduling flexibility
