Position Description
Project Overview:
The Global Sustainability Team drives the development and implementation of global sustainability strategy to further empower action, ensure alignment and prioritization, identify new leadership opportunities, and mitigate risks. The team leads sustainability strategy and programs on carbon, circular economy, water, product integration, reporting, and employee engagement.
The Global Sustainability Team seeks an Environmental Key Performance Indicators (KPI) Accounting Program Manager, to support the company's efforts to quantify our carbon, water, waste and other environmental KPIs.

Overall Responsibilities:
Support completion of annual environmental Key Performance Indicators (KPI) accounting (energy, carbon, water, waste). Support data collection, data quality control, indicator calculations, and overall KPI aggregation.
Support developing documentation of new company-wide accounting policies, processes, and controls related to environmental accounting. Lead the update of documentation of current and new methodologies. Support assessment of business implications of methodological choices and trade-offs.
Support third-party assurance of environmental KPIs

Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:

  • Complete tasks related to environmental data collection, data quality control, indicator calculations, and overall KPI aggregation.
  • Draft documentation of company-wide accounting policies, processes, and controls related to environmental accounting. Update of documentation of current and new methodologies. Support the development of analysis of the business implications of accounting methodological choices.
  • Lead answering 3P auditor questions during the KPI verification project.
Skill/Experience/Education
Mandatory
  • Desired years of experience: 4+ years of related professional experience.
  • Bachelor education or equivalent experience in environmental science or engineering, or equivalent degree (math, ecology, biology, economics).
  • Background in corporate carbon accounting, life cycle assessment for products or services, and other environmental metric accounting (energy, water, waste).
  • Familiarity with the top carbon accounting frameworks (e.g. Greenhouse Gas Protocol, Scope 2 and Scope 3 Guidance) .
  • Great communication and program management skills (project scoping and planning, stakeholder management, overall program and individual project coordination). Attention to detail.
  • Strong quantitative skills: proficient use of sheets/Excel, data management, data QA/QC, extracting insights from data.

  • Familiarity with GHG accounting software solutions
