Support and maintain Ellucian Colleague ERP including 3^rd Party applications, SLATE and university business applications.  Maintain existing software needed to support requirements of the University.  Analyzing, defining, and documenting requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware and operating system environment, interfaces with other systems, internal and external checks and controls, and outputs. Writing and maintaining technical specifications. Customizing and coding screen layouts, graphical user interfaces, printed outputs, and interfaces with other systems. Creating test transactions and running tests to find errors and confirm programs meet specifications Writing and maintaining documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, testing, changes, and corrections. Writing documentation that describes installation and operating procedures. Reviewing documentation written by others that describes installation and operating procedures. Strong UniData, UniBasic and UniQuery skills required. Experience with Ellucian Colleague required. Experience developing and customizing programs using the Colleague Envision Toolkit or Colleague Studio.  Working with end users and stakeholder for designing, programming and implementing Colleague Workflow, Ellucian Experience, Ethos integration of 3^rd party applications. Working with End users and stake holders to design and configure. Softdocs SERVE and ETRIEVE documents for printing and document management.

 

Ethos Integration Support, SLATE, Programming web interface, Interfaces with 3^rd Party Applications, Ellucian Experience, Workflow, Colleague Studio, SoftDocs / Etrieve support. Knowledge of PHP, DreamWeaver, MySQL, JAVA Script. Able to deal with details and willing to put in the extra effort and time to get a project completed. Knowledge of UNIX operating systems. Knowledge of Data Warehouse administration

 

Bachelor's Degree with Major in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business or related field or at least 5 years' experience in Information Technology. Working knowledge of personal computer applications. Minimally five years' experience as a Programmer. Working knowledge of data processing operations. Work experience and/or additional course work in Mathematics, Accounting, Statistics and/or Programming.
