Meta's Global Risk Operations organization advocates for and protects every person, community, and business from risk on Meta's Family of Apps and Services. The Global Risk Operations (GRO) organization identifies, investigates, monitors, and resolves emerging, ambiguous and high-priority risks on and off our platform, at a global, regional, and country levels. The Programs and Process team sits within GRO and builds operational excellence by incubating, standardizing, and scaling programs and processes that identify, mitigate, and resolve high priority risks to our community and company. We're seeking an experienced Program Manager to join our Programs and Process team. On this team, you will help to keep the Meta community safe by building programs, processes, protocols, systems, and strategies to prevent and manage the risk of abuse on our platforms. The ideal candidate should have strong program management and strategic decision-making skills, is independent and self-driven, has excellent time management and organizational skills, and communicates clearly. The candidate should have a high tolerance for ambiguity, bias for action, strong empathy, and an ability to operate autonomously while building trust and delivering results. Programs & Process Program Manager, Global Risk Operations Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage end-to-end project plans and provide hands-on program management during design, implementation, analysis and post implementation phases
  • Build, improve, and scale processes that contribute to operational excellence
  • Frame and scope the problem statement, build requirements, enable resourcing, work with cross-functional stakeholders (including leadership), identify dependencies, reduce risks, and build key performance indicators
  • Build long-term roadmaps and strategic plans by effectively prioritizing business requirements from internal teams and cross-functional stakeholders including from Product, Legal, Policy, and Operations
  • Cultivate relationships and drive cross-functional programs in a matrixed organization covering operations, integrity, sales, risk, etc.
  • Communicate effectively, tailoring messages based on the audience ranging from Operations Specialists to Executive Leadership
  • Be a change agent by understanding organizational dynamics that influence adoption of process and program changes


Minimum Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience leading multiple complex programs & projects by managing end-to-end project plans, ensuring on-time delivery and leading project risk and change management
  • Experience designing and implementing continuous process improvements to increase efficiency and quality
  • Proven track record of building relationships, influencing, cultivating consensus, driving change and communicating with large cross-functional stakeholder groups, particularly across large matrixed organizations
  • Proven communications skill tailored to diverse audiences using various mediums (e.g., posts, presentations, interactive videos, etc.)
  • Experience working directly with senior and executive leaders as well as individual contributors at all levels and across regions
  • Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment


Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP, Scrum, and/or Six Sigma certified
  • 4+ years of experience in risk management, operations, policy, product, and/or markets
  • Experience leading change management involving large-scale organizational transformation
  • Masters, MBA, or graduate degree
