BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Project Coordinator II for an opportunity in Mountain View, CA.

Position Title: Project Coordinator II
Location: Mountain View, CA

Anticipated Start Date: 04/15/2024.

Expected Duration: 6 Months.

Job Type: Contract

Pay Range: $50-60 /hr. on W2

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

Job Title: Project Coordinator II

Duration: 6 Months

Location: Menlo Park, CA

Responsibilities:

• Plan and manage localization schedules. Communicate timelines and test results across our main partners: Localization Program Managers, Language Managers, Engineers, QA, Vendors, and Content Designers.
• Ability to execute and create test plans for our linguists.
• Find current pain points in our workflows and tools and implement any process improvements.
• Work cross-functionally with different products and stakeholders to identify linguistic optimization opportunities and own projects end to end.
• Make independent decisions and work well under pressure in the face of ambiguity and aggressive deadlines.

Skills:

• Experience working in Localization, QA, and Project Management
• Track record of getting products launched in a large set of locales.
• Ability to prioritize, triage, and escalate i18n bugs. Comfortable working with product teams to ensure fixes are done before launch.
• Experience in task prioritization, ability to identify problems and work towards solutions.
• Solid understanding of common challenges with developing products for international markets

Preferred Qualification:

• Experience with localization platforms, file formats and CAT tools or any similar in-house localization tools and platforms that manage and/or automate the translation workflow.
• Familiarity with product and software development process
• Relevant experience in software localization, localization program management or management of localization technology solutions
• Experience in hardware, augmented reality, virtual reality, advertising, or payments testing.
