Purpose

The Project Coordinator for the Restore and Renew Program at Church World Service (CWS) will play a vital role in leading and coordinating efforts for the Restore and Renew Clergy program. This temporary position will involve working closely with the Funds Development and Marketing team and the planning working group to implement strategies to support CWS's mission of providing assistance and support to this internal working group that will have external impacts. This is a temporary position with a duration of 1 year based on Per Diem pay for project work as needed.

Responsibilities

Program Coordination:

• Assist key leadership in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the Restore and Renew Program in alignment with the program goals.
• Coordinate with internal teams, external partners and program participants to ensure effective program delivery and impact.

Fundraising and Grant Management:

• Assist in the execution of fundraising strategies to secure financial support for the Restore and Renew Program.
• Research funding opportunities, write grant proposals, and manage grant reporting requirements.

Marketing and Communication:

• Develop marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, and digital content, to promote the Restore and Renew Program.
• Work with the CWS staff representatives to manage social media accounts and website content related to the program, ensuring consistent messaging and engagement.
• Coordinate media outreach and public relations efforts to raise awareness of the program's impact.

Project Planning and Implementation:

• Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets for program activities, ensuring adherence to deadlines and financial targets.
• Coordinate logistics for events, campaigns, and visits related to the program.

Monitoring and Evaluation:

• Establish monitoring and evaluation frameworks to assess the effectiveness and impact of program activities.
• Collect and analyze data to track progress toward program goals and outcomes.
• Prepare regular reports and updates for internal stakeholders and donors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as international development, nonprofit management, or marketing.
• Proven experience in project coordination, fundraising, or marketing, preferably in a nonprofit or humanitarian organization. Experience working in nonprofit fundraising and marketing is a plus.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.
• Commitment to the mission and values of Church World Service and a passion for humanitarian work.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and shift to new priorities when needed.
