Due to expansion with future projects, we are looking for a Project Engineer to join our team!
What You Will Be Doing -Coordinate plan sets, read plans, review and submit RFI's, review submittals and coordinate same, notify subcontractors and keep team members aware of new developments.
-Monitors and enforces, along with project team, safety and OSHA safety standards to maintain a safe working environment for all employees, and site visitors.
-Liaise with clients to identify and define requirements, scope and objectives.
-Oversee project closeout procedures.
-Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants.
-Understands the logic of a schedule and works with the project team, as requested, to ensure that the detailed construction CPM schedule is met.
-Assists the project team to create, manage, and modify subcontract agreement and/or purchase order.
-Assist in the procurement of equipment and materials, and track and expedite their delivery.
-Coordinates with the project manager to track master subcontract agreements, and ensures that the office receives signed agreements back.
What You Need for this Position -Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field of study.
-1+ years of GC-level experience in commercial, industrial or tenant improvement construction.
-Very organized with a systematic approach to tasks to achieve accuracy and efficiency.
-Strong computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), P6, MS Project, or other CPM Scheduling Software, Procore or similar project management software.
-Knowledge of building systems, construction processes and pricing.
