PROJECT MANAGER (Digital EMPO Framework)

My name is David Slaymaker and my company, Innova Solutions, is immediately hiring a Project Manager to serve the healthcare business industry. You will work as part of Innova Solution's PM team delivering projects in a client EPMO environment, working under the direction of Innova Solution's Delivery Manager. You will actively participate in the delivery of tasks/activities and associated deliverables to manage assigned EPMO projects.
Position type: Fulltime contract
Duration: 6 months with possible extension
Location: Remote within USA. However, the ideal candidate will reside in Dayton, Ohio area while working remotely from your home office with the flexibility to report to the Dayton office as needed for critical meetings.
Pay Range: $110-125/Annual

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage one or more projects while also serving as backup project manager to one or more projects
  • Ensure project identified processes and methodologies are executed and followed as applicable
  • Formulate and document objectives and outcomes based on client needs and industry requirements
  • Ensure stakeholder understanding of business requirements and desired outcomes
  • Interface with stakeholders
  • Communicate business rules and technical changes to stakeholders
  • Develop and present formal papers and presentations to business leaders, vendors, and team members
  • Identify and report project issues and risks
  • Collaborate with team members to provide subject matter expertise, assistance, and to develop and execute test plans and test cases
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Project Manager
  • Minimum 6 years of experience supporting Medicaid system and/or Medicaid business operations
  • Minimum 3 years of experience conducting reviews of system development life cycle documentation, project and technical architecture and design deliverables/artifact
  • Undergraduate degree or 6 years equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Experience managing more than one small-medium project at a time
  • Demonstrate Schedule, RAID, Cost Tracking, Resource Acquisition
  • Ability to produce quality status reports
  • Ability to translate between non-technical business users and technical IT resources
GOOD SKILLS TO HAVE:
  • Project Management education, certificate, or certification (PMP, Prince3, etc.)
  • Experience and skill in Schedule Management best practices, industry standards, and competency using Microsoft Project software
  • Experience with Planview or other PPM
