Overview:

The PM shall oversee all contract matters relating to daily operation of this contract. Overall responsibility for the receipt, storage, issue, packaging and inventory operations, including cost, schedule, technical performance, and quality of the operation.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for compliance of all safety regulations of employees while working on government owned facilities
  • Lead, direct, and guide work force in successful accomplishment of the mission.
  • Ensure compliance with all rules, regulations, contract provisions, and state, local and federal laws.
  • Work independently in implementing sound personnel management and material management policies and procedures to ensure successful accomplishment of the receipt, storage, issue, and special functions related to the work being performed and in accordance with customer requirements.
  • Must strive to ensure that all operational goals, objectives, production, and performance requirements are met.
  • Manage and supervise employees in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Interview, hire and train subordinate leaders; appraise performance; reward and counsel employees; address complaints and resolve problems.
  • Utilize knowledge of the Naval Aviation Supply systems to evaluate the planning and coordination of workload; assign and adjust priorities; provide technical advice and policy direction; and perform supervisory and personnel duties of subordinate leaders.
  • Lead Team Olgoonik's quality effort, with overall responsibility for the Quality Assurance/Customer Satisfaction Plan (QC/CSP).
  • Ensure that the responsibilities of authority and accountability of all direct subordinates are defined and understood.
  • Ensure that all business segment activities and operations are carried out in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and host regulations.
  • Responsible for budgets, financial, and other operational reports as required.
  • In the absence of a subordinate manager, perform the essential responsibilities of the position.
  • Promote effective two-way communications throughout the operations.
  • Represent the company, as appropriate, in its relationship with customers, employees, competitors, suppliers, Government agencies, and other similar groups.
  • Provide inputs to business element strategic planning, including (a) profit, (b) indirect cost management, (c) facilities and equipment, and (d) employee compensation objectives.
  • May perform all other position-related duties as assigned or requested.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

The position shall have full authority to act for the company on all contract matters relating to daily operation of this contract. Responsible for supervising work force including: mentoring, coaching, encouraging, and training

Education and/or Experience:
  • Must have at least ten years of recent Naval Aviation Supply experience. This experience must include extensive NERP and NALCOMIS expertise.
  • The Project Manager shall have the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, possess good teamwork skills, and have the ability to motivate and lead others.
  • Additional experience in management of a distribution, supply, and industrial or transportation operation involved in receipt, transportation, storage, repair and issue of stores in stock is desired.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Must have extensive knowledge and understanding of Naval Aviation Logistics Command Management Information System (NALCOMIS) and Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (NERP).
  • Must be articulate, creative, a problem solver, a decision maker, and a change agent.
  • Must have excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Suite of products including, Word, Excel, Access and E-mail business software.
  • Must demonstrate a good attitude and ability to work as a member of a Team.
  • Position requires self-motivation and the ability to work effectively under minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to multi-task efficiently, work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects, and have a strong attention for detail.

Security Clearance:

SECRET Level Required
  • Must have a current US Government SECRET Personnel Security Clearance or be able to successfully complete a U.S. government administered Investigation.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must also be able to maintain a US Government SECRET clearance.

Work Environment:

General office environment. Some travel both domestically and internationally required based on business demands.
