About the Opportunity
As a Project Manager, you will support the WVU Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute team. You will be part of an exciting collaborative effort working towards solutions for optimal neurological health. In this role, your efforts will provide both immediate and long-term impact to improve the lives of West Virginians and others across the globe.
This position will be responsible for leading RNI administration with comprehensive project management and provide high level oversite for successful implementation plans. You will act as an internal consultant for specific assignments.

What you’ll do:
Partner with senior executives to define project approach and ensure overall project plan will achieve objectives.
Oversee and monitor progress of RNI team members who are implementing project plans and providing support for various initiatives.
Work closely with WVUH, HSC, WVU, and RNI leadership to proactively identify and resolve issues that may adversely impact projects.
Comprehend internal and external drivers that influence effective operation, management, and execution of HSC resourcing, planning, programming, and budget execution processes.
Present analysis and recommendation to decision makers in a succinct and organized manner, including identifying strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats to evaluate operational effectiveness.
Provide proper support for all external collaborative and contracted partners as well as RNI administrative partners.
Develop executive presentations for stakeholder communications on strategic initiatives progress, risks and budget results. Review and analyze operational reports, summarize findings.
Track and report project milestones and provide status reports in the selected format at the assigned interval.
Determine most efficient and cost-effective means for gathering and analyzing data needed to support departmental goals and achieve growth through the accomplishment of long-range goals and objectives.
Drive strategic initiatives and manage internal and external relationships to ensure commitments are met, deadlines are realized and expectations are managed appropriately. May manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
