Overview

Intrepid Solutions has open a Project Officer position supporting our US Army TENCAP client to help enable the Army to rapidly exploit and influence national capabilities and architectures in Alexandria, VA.
Responsibilities

The Project Officer shall develop and execute Systems Engineering processes including:

• Review and comment on the accuracy and completeness of documentation used to justify government objectives or requirements.
• Assess Intelligence Community products against Army POR threshold and objective requirements.
• Participate in and provide recommendations for acceptance or rejection of program reviews, to include Software Specification Reviews (SSR), Preliminary Design Reviews (PDR), Critical Design Reviews (CDR), and Test Readiness Reviews (TRR).
• Draft proposed acquisition strategies and cost estimates to facilitate program milestone execution.
• For development of Advanced Prototypes, draft program documentation, system specification, and Concept of Operations (CONOPS) IAW CDRL E001.

OPERATING HOURS AND EXPECTATIONS:

• This position anticipates standard work hours, Monday-Friday.

TRAVEL:

• Limited or minimal travel expected.

Qualifications

CLEARANCE:

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor's degree; OR,
• Associate's degree + 4 years of work experience; OR,
• 6 years of work experience.

CERTIFICATION(S):

• None

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• 2+ years of progressively complex experience in system acquisition or system development of DOD or IC intelligence systems.
