Location: Monterey, TN
Salary: $70,000.00 USD Annually - $85,000.00 USD Annually
Description: Large meats processing company is looking for a QA Supervisor for one of their facilities in TN

****Candidates must have experience in USDA regulated poultry / meats processing & quality leadership experience

Summary ~
This role leads the continual development and implementation of the HACCP plans to meet USDA regulations, company and customer expectations regarding food safety.

- Monitors plant GMP's and other prerequisite programs daily.

Details ~

- Develops programs and procedures to ensure regulatory and company food safety requirements are met and maintained.

- Communicates to and trains all associates prior to their implementation.

- Audits all HACCP records providing timely feedback to management.

- Hands on involvement in all food safety problems that arise during the shift and developing appropriate solutions and corrective actions/preventative measures for those problems.

- Conducts validations of scientific data that support facility food safety decisions as needed yearly.

Requirements ~

- Bachelor degree

- 3+ years of experience in meat/poultry industry quality leadership

- HACCP certification, knowledge of USDA regulations including GMP, SSOP and HACCP and labeling.

- Experience with food safety plant style audits.
