Supports the Quality Management system with investigation of non-conformances and low yields and recommends and implements corrective and preventive actions and improvement projects. Assures customer requirements are documented and met by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Develops FAIs for manufactured parts and reviews supplier-provided FAI reports.

1. Ensures the timely processing of all NCR's (Nonconformance Reports).

1. Ensures the Statistical Process Control (SPC) is utilized with the manufacturing organization, where applicable.

1. Facilitates the implementation of corrective actions

1. Performs internal quality systems audits.

1. Creates and implements inspection criteria and procedures.

1. Supports supplier management processes.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position does not have any direct reports. May be required to oversee inspection, CMM, or calibration operations in the absence of the quality manager.
