Our client, a Boston based investment firm is looking to add to their growing real estate investment team. This position will be working in a broad capacity within this small team and overtime can expect to grow in responsibilities.
Responsibilities associated with this position will include but not be limited to; analyze first mortgage, mezzanine, preferred equity, and equity investment opportunities using Argus and Excel, synthesize information in clear concise summary for management. Additionally one can expect to evaluate CMBS and RMBS opportunities, develop adaptable models to explore commercial real estate projects, gather and analyze data, prepare investment memorandums, conduct ongoing current investment due diligence, and much more based on experience.
The ideal candidate for this position will offer 2+ years of real estate experience within the brokerage, banking, or investment areas of the business. Strong excel and financial modeling skills are strongly desired as well as strong technical Excel and Argus knowledge.
Compensation will be competitive to market and will consist of base salary and annual bonus.
