The Gage County Court is taking applications for a full time Records Clerk/Cashier. This is an entry level clerical position.
Examples of Work
Work involves a variety of general office duties associated with civil court and small claims. Tasks include responding to routine inquiries, typing and computer functions under the supervision of the manager. Data entry and attention to detail is paramount.
Qualifications / Requirements
REQUIREMENTS: High school graduation or equivalent PLUS two years of court experience or experience in a similar office setting. Education above high school level may be substituted for work experience on a year for year basis.
PREFERRED: Bilingual skills in English and Spanish.
OTHER: Successful completion of "on the job training" in JUSTICE (the statewide computer system) will be required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Typing skills, computer and data entry skills and ability to follow instructions. Good telephone manners and strong customer service skills are required.
