Are You Our Next Regional Account Manager Coordinator?

The Regional Account Manager Coordinator is responsible for supporting the efforts of the North America Commercial team to achieve strategic priorities while gaining knowledge of Mosaic products, business systems and workflow processes to support assigned customers within a region.

What Will You Do?

  • Partner with the Sales and Account Management team to develop and execute a sales plan while gaining knowledge and experience of all facets of the Account Manager role and business, which will include sales and planning cycle, products, pricing mechanisms, margin and netback goals, product management, supply chain, warehousing and increasing customer engagement.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals to Commercial Leadership Team.
  • Provide sales support to the North America Commercial team to achieve strategic priorities and sales goals.
  • Actively contribute to the development, delivery and communication of Mosaic sales objective, market trends, and other reporting needs.
  • Participate in and/or lead assigned portions of projects in the following areas: sales strategy, business planning, demand forecasting, netback optimization, digital acceleration initiatives, inventory and warehouse management, product go-to-market strategies and customer experience.
  • Ensure that all the business transactions comply with the policies, rules and procedures defined by Mosaic (Code of Conduct, principles, safety and environment, risk exposure, financial reporting, Human Resources policies, etc.).
  • Partner and collaborate with Marketing, Product Management, Supply Chain, Finance and Credit on sales objectives and activities

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have the Following:
  • Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Business, Economics, Marketing, or related field.
  • 2/3+ Years of B2B sales and/or account management experience.
  • Experience with value-based selling, business development and skilled negotiation.
  • Proven strategic sales planning capabilities and execution of commercial go to market.
  • Excellent verbal, written listening, and presentation communication skills, which includes the ability to communicate persuasively with customers and manage contract negotiations.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail.
  • Ability to lead and facilitate communication amongst a team.
  • Ability to effectively work and build relationships with customers and employees at all levels within the organization.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving, analytical skills, and financial acumen.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a continually changing business and work environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to travel at least 40% of the time.
  • Strong computer skills, which includes proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and Teams.

Mosaic's Plymouth Offices, located in Minnesota, served as the former headquarters for Mosaic. Headquarters were relocated to Tampa, Florida in 2019. However, key strategic professional roles remain in Plymouth to help support our company's phosphate mining and fertilizer manufacturing operations.
