REGIONAL OPERATIONS MANAGER

JOB SUMMARY

A designated region will be assigned to Operations Manager. The manager will provide management and leadership for the operations department including installation, project management, and service within the designated region.

REGIONAL OPERATIONS MANAGER ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assure customers are handled in a timely and professional manner and overall customer satisfaction goals are achieved or exceeded;
  • Oversee and/or review scheduling for all installations;
  • Support sales team or project management team in the system design and in developing a scope of work intended to meet customer requirements and/or expectations;
  • Ensure installation and service quality standards;
  • Ensure project profitability and job cost review of install jobs;
  • Recruit, hire, and train installation and service personnel;
  • Oversee day to day activities of installation and service personnel;
  • Work with the Company Fleet Manager to ensure that company-owned vehicles are meeting maintenance requirements to ensure the longevity and appearance of the company fleet;
  • Administer and follow Company safety policies as stated in the Company Safety Manual;
  • Conduct regular safety meetings to ensure safety awareness in all tasks performed by install and service personnel;
  • Oversee technical training and certification programs;
  • Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma required college degree preferred;

NICET Certification Level 1 and 2 required;

Minimum 3-5 years technical install or service experience;

Minimum 2 years supervisory experience

SKILLS and ABILITIES

Knowledge and understanding of products and applications in the industry;

Knowledge of installation practices and standards;

Strong management and leadership skills;

Excellent written and communication skills;

Proficient in Microsoft Suite;

Maintain industry certification(s) as required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit in an office environment. Employees will be required to travel by car or airplane with overnight stays in hotels. The employee is occasionally required to stand, crouch, kneel, climb or crawl. The employee must frequently lift objects up to 10 pounds that could include company materials, files, and small equipment. Specific vision abilities by this job include close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus in order to view reports, computer screens, forms, and operating manuals.

While at the customer site, the employee may be required to climb a ladder, carry equipment weighing up to 50 lbs., crawl or kneel.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work is performed indoors in a fluorescent-lit workspace at the employer's office or the employee's home office. The employee will visit customer sites and perform work outside which could include extreme weather conditions.
