Job Description
The Regional Account Manager is responsible for generating and building retail sales for Alchemee (formerly The Proactiv Company) in assigned region within brick and mortar (B&M) stores. This position serves as the point of contact communicating and coordinating Alchemee needs within ULTA Beauty. The ideal candidate must enjoy the retail environment and demonstrate the ability to facilitate product education and training, sales achievement, and relationship building skills.

Job Responsibilities

  • Utilize sales, education, event tools and experience to support fiscal sales plan achievement
  • Educate, train and develop ULTA Beauty staff with a focus on product knowledge and selling skills
  • Create business plans for assigned region to meet and exceed sales goals
  • Effectively execute plans, monitor progress and course correct as needed
  • Build and strengthen in-store relationships with all levels of management and selling teams
  • Develop a Special Events calendar and implement, along with merchandising objectives, with in-store selling teams
  • Promote and sell company programs to store management and receive support for execution of our company Sales & Marketing and Events calendars
  • Inform retailer selling teams staff about company's goals, visual merchandising directives and product knowledge; Use data and insights to drive the business and identify areas for improvement
  • Partner with ULTA management teams to solve any merchandising and inventory concerns
  • Successfully develop, maintain and oversee customer relations interacting with customers, reviewing and discussing the business relationships and proactively managing key issues/problems
  • Other duties as assigned


Minimum Requirements
  • High school diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Three (3) or more years of Beauty/OTC or other relatable experience in National Accounts working with retailers
  • Experience in developing and implementing business plans that exceed expected goals
  • Solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills.
  • Customer focused, self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed
  • Self-starter and team oriented with strong work ethic
  • Ability to listen well, think strategically and creatively to solve problems, gain alignment and gain action through influence
  • Entrepreneurial mindset that drives speed of situational assessment and decision making
  • Ability to dissect challenging business situations, develop business proposals, and present to senior management
  • Ability to analyze data and monitor retail patterns to identify opportunities and risks
  • Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills including ability to communicate effectively with people of diverse backgrounds and skill sets
