The Regional Showroom- Sales Manager (RSM) will be responsible for increasing product sales within assigned regional Showrooms to achieve company objectives. Develop and retain an effective showrooms sales force capable of increasing product sales. Work closely with all teams to achieve goals and maximize market penetration and margin potential.

Summary:

  • Develops, executes and monitors strategies to drive Showroom traffic and lead generation growth, measured by defined metrics annually.
  • Travels throughout assigned region to ensure Consultants achieve objectives and are driving new business and relationships in their assigned market.
  • Trains, mentors and coaches team members in all areas of job-specific responsibilities including selling and presentation skills, product knowledge, new product launches, sample management, internal procedures, Custom Builder programs, and best practices in relation to sales and showroom development.
  • Provides leadership and direction to Design Sales Consultants in the pursuit of showroom objectives. Clearly defines goals and objectives for personnel to measure performance and communicates these objectives to the staff and/or SSC Manager on a regular basis.
  • Maintains frequent communication with Director of National Showrooms, RVP's, and SSC Manager so that lines of communication are open to achieve desired results for market.
  • Reviews activity logs and metrics including showroom traffic, consultant appointments, lead to order generation, social media engagement, and hosted events.
  • Achieves revenue, budget and other business objectives for assigned region.
  • Collaborates with Design Sales Consultants in driving traffic through strategic showroom events, marketing and social media to meet requirements and optimize showroom exposure. Attends industry related events to network and promote showrooms.
  • Monitors the proper operations and merchandising of showroom. Reports showroom compliance.
  • Performs other duties as required to support Corporate and Regional objectives.
  • Travel expectation: 75%

Education and Requirements:
  • Requires Bachelor's degree or an additional 3 years of experience in a related industry. Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Requires 5+ years of experience in management. Preferably showroom management
  • Core competencies include excellent interpersonal and management skills, business acumen and strategic thinking, effective communication and listening skills, and very good level of design abilities. Familiarity with design of accentuating materials and finishes other than tile to balance customer selections.

Other Pertinent Information:
  • While performing the duties of this job, the associate is required to frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Extensive travel required.
