NGHS is currently seeking a Registrar-Vital Records-Gainesville

Monday-Friday 7:30AM-4PM

Job Summary: Conducts patient interviews and abstracts clinical data from the patient's medical record to complete and submit State mandated birth and death records, electronically or via mail, to the appropriate agency, maintaining confidentiality of all data and related information. Maintains records/logs of birth, fetal death/stillbirth, abortion registry as well as deaths.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Must obtain Notary and Vital Record Registry within 3 months of hire provided by NGHS.
• Two (2) years experience in a related healthcare setting or related role required.
• Bilingual preferred.

Physical Demands:

• Occasional lifting up to 20 lbs
• Occasionally kneeling/stooping/bending
• Frequently standing/walking
• Occasionally pushing/pulling
• Occasional intensive work, requires reading, writing, reasoning, & talking
