Job Title: Reliability Centered Maintenance Manager (B)

Job Summary:

EMCOR Government Services has a need for a Reliability Centered Maintenance Manager for a Proposal Bid Effort with NASA Armstrong at Edwards AFB, CA.

*** This position is contingent upon contract award. ***

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversight responsibility for the development of an Annual Work Plan and implementation of a Reliability Centered Maintenance Program for the site. The program is focused on maintaining a balance of preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance strategies designed to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of maintenance operations by analyzing each system / component based on criticality, failure modes, and available technology to identify / prevent those failure modes.
  • Responsible for addressing equipment defect(s), determining defect severity and providing a work request to the facility maintenance staff specifying the work required to eliminate the defect.
  • Responsible for developing, qualifying, and approving all procedures, specifications, advance analysis techniques, and standards interpretation; including the designation of Condition Based Monitoring methods applied to Real Property Installed Equipment (RPIE).
  • Responsible for utilizing current CMMS (Maximo) and other analytics tools for trending and analyzing RCM data, performing risk analysis, creating reports to management advocating for preventive maintenance activity, and planning & scheduling required preventive maintenance.
  • Upon provision of test and commissioning documents from installation efforts, the RCM Manager shall establish baselines for equipment inspections and submit results after the first preventive maintenance activity. Responsible for tracking to the baseline from that point forward.
  • Responsible for communicating, coordinating, and interfacing with other technically qualified personnel as required to include HVAC, Electrical, and Management Personnel and specialty subcontractors.
  • Responsible and capable of working from building plans, blueprints, wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, and electrical maintenance and repair manuals

Qualifications:
  • Five (5) years' experience in operating & maintaining rotating equipment and maintenance management with Level 2 Certification from the Vibration Institute and a Certified Maintenance and Reliability Technician (CMRT) from Society for Maintenance and Reliability Professionals (SMRP).
  • Three (3) years' experience utilizing CMMS preferably Maximo work, asset, and preventive maintenance management modules. Must possess knowledge on using this system to report on asset condition based on trend & risk analysis.
  • Trained, skilled, and experience in industry standard RCM practices, PT&I, and performance of Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA). Advanced knowledge of predictive technologies include, but are not limited to: Vibration Analysis, Ultrasound Analysis, Infrared Analysis, Oil Analysis, and Motor Circuit Analysis.
  • Knowledge of utilization of trending data from building automation systems is also a plus.
  • Knowledge and experience using schematics, test equipment, multi-meters, oscilloscopes, digital thermometers, pressure meters, data loggers and other reliability tools.
  • Must be capable of performing physical labor including, walking, standing, lift up to 40lbs, pulling, climbing up and down ladders and agility/dexterity to perform duties
  • Must be physically capable of working in confined
  • Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain CPR
