General Summary:The Technical Sales Support Manager / Reliability Engineer is a trusted rotating equipment expert to ITT customers providing reliability and process improvement proficiency. This role will involve remotely reviewing and analyzing machine data utilizing ITT's condition monitoring system to identify current and upcoming rotating equipment issues. The Monitoring Engineer will be expected to periodically send reports, with experience-based insights, to customers from the condition monitoring system as well as be available to support and consult with customers on equipment reliability concerns. When issues arise with customer equipment, the Monitoring Engineer will coordinate with ITT resources to provide a smooth plan for resolution to minimize downtime for customers while utilizing and driving business to ITT's aftermarket service business.
Essential Responsibilities

• While based in the Stafford Texas facility, this position mainly supports remotely located equipment; position will review rotating equipment utilizing ITT's condition monitoring system and will formulate a plan of action to resolve any technical issues and work cross functionally with local field services team to gather data • Send reports to end-users to reflect machine health, along with data-driven solutions or recommendations for improvements based on experience• Act as rotating equipment expert and consultant to customers to provide insight and recommendations on machinery reliability issues (from pressure, temperature and vibration)• Support customers on set-up and operation of ITT condition monitoring system• Troubleshoot installation/field issues including mechanical root cause analysis; motor current signature analysis, power, utilizing an analyzer • Coordinate with ITT resources to drive solutions to customer reliability issues as they arise• Drive business to ITT aftermarket services via data provided from monitoring system feedback (aftermarket services, parts, pumps) will be able to have a strong influence to drive the sales directly • Follow standard procedures to on-board new customers and maintain satisfaction of existing customers to condition monitoring services
Position Requirements

• At least 10+ years of experience as a Vibration Analyst with a Category III or IV certification required. • Certification in other condition monitoring technologies such as ultrasound, infrared is an advantage.• At least 10+ years field experience working with industrial/manufacturing rotating equipment in industries such as oil/gas, chemical, pulp & paper, general industry, food & beverage, pharmaceutical etc.• Experience providing insight and recommendations on machinery reliability issues to customers • Mechanical engineering bachelor's degree or equivalent required • Working knowledge of field service engineering processes.• Working knowledge of computers, MS Office and specialist vibration monitoring software • Ability to quickly learn new and evolving technology.• Analytical thinker with strong attention to detail, able to work with minimal supervision.• Must be able to relay technical information to remote customers.
