Basic Job Functions:

Nucor Steel South Carolina (Darlington, SC) is seeking applicants for the position of Reliability Engineer. The role of the Reliability Engineer includes but is not limited to maximizing the reliability of the mill by monitoring the predictive/preventative maintenance programs, leading root cause failure analysis, driving engineering design improvements, and managing maintenance improvement projects to increase the reliability of the equipment while reducing the maintenance costs and increasing the overall profitability of the mill. Candidate must be willing to work scheduled/unscheduled overtime, weekends/holidays. Minimum Qualifications:

BS in Engineering or Fiveyears' industrial mechanical experience with one or more of the following:

Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM)

Predictive Maintenance (PdM)

Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA)

Maintenance Planning and Scheduling

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in the steel making industry.

Reliability Engineering Certification (REC)

Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE)
