EXPECTED JOB DURATION: Long term commitment, 12 months as an Avaya Staff Supplemental contingent worker. Potential extension to exceed initial 12 months based on business need, approval and performance.

WORK SITE: Virtual / Remote.

HOURS: Full time / 40 hrs a week. Potential OT for night and weekend work. Candidate will be required to support either EST or CST hours, regardless of candidate location.

Job Description:

The Program Manager will oversee coordinate with the end Customer and Avaya personnel in planning, managing and coordinating all Services to be performed under the assigned work assignment The PGM will supervise overall activities to ensure a successful program. This program can include high level projects with multiple sub-projects to be implemented in an integrated fashion with support from multiple Avaya resources. Each Service to be performed is detailed under the applicable Stage of the project, as described below.

PGM day-to-day responsibilities:

The (Program Manager) will be the single point of contact (SPOC) for implementation.

• Develop and maintain a high level program schedule.

• Conduct a program kickoff meeting to review program objectives, scope and confirm customer requirements.

• Develop and maintain in coordination with program team, a work breakdown structure and program schedule Including:

• Work package decomposition.

• Critical path activities.

• Milestones and tasks.

• Task responsibly assignment

• Definition of roles and responsibilities • Generate and maintain a program workbook.

• Implementation plan which defines overall plan, approach and methodology to be utilized during the program.

• Change management plan which defines the methodology for tracking changes in scope of the program (schedule, resource, functional, or technical) and provides the mechanism for change impact assessment and acceptance/rejection procedures.

• Communication plan, including definition of escalation path which defines key contacts and escalation path for program resources, the meeting structure, attendance expectations. Status reporting approach, frequency and the mechanism for distribution of updates.

• Risk mitigation plan which describes the methodology for identifying, tracking, managing and resolving potential risks that might impact program success and for quality.

• Conduct weekly program status meetings and issue s1atus reports.

• Identifies program issues/actions, with a description of the issue and action for resolution including open date, due date and party responsible for resolution • The status report should contain the following; • Change Request Reporting • Issues on the horizon • Percentage complete by release or initiative • Percentage complete for overall project • The project status report will be presented and reviewed at monthly Steering Committee members.

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work related experience

• 7+ years in large/complex Project or Program Management support in the telecommunications, messaging, computer or networking industries and/or related technology segments

• Demonstrated experience-in managing large, complex programs/projects, including financial responsibilities

• Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional teams of technical professionals in a highly matrixes environment

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Knowledge of established, industry standard project management methodologies (PMI, ITIL).Ability to apply the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) as the foundation for professional project management structure, process, disciplines, tools and deliverables in support of implementing strategic customer programs/projects.

• Proven leadership abilities, including ability to communicate with C-level executives.

• Ability to establish and maintain strong professional relationships with customers, business partners and Avaya associates.

• Strong written and verbal business communications skills, including large-group presentations.

• Expert-level skills In MS Project and MS Excel.

• Understanding of general accounting principles and management of project financials.

Certifications:

• Project Management Professional (PMP} cert from PMI
