The Project Coordinator-Dangerous Goods is designed to support the Dangerous Goods Senior Manager of the organization. As a Project Coordinator you will be responsible for managing and coordinating a variety of projects and resource development as well as supporting the senior manager with administrative tasks and fielding subject matter inquiries from the network as needed. This position requires the ability to be highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple assignments in a changing environment while keeping a positive and professional attitude. The ideal candidate will be a well-organized professional that has strong critical thinking skills, be highly detail oriented, creative, and possess forward thinking.

Responsibilities:
Primary support for Senior Manager
Administration support for Project Manager
Project coordination of multiple Dangerous Goods projects for a global audience
Project and process support and execution
Support the DG Senior Manager to execute projects as related to the DG vertical
Familiar with Dangerous Goods Transportation regulations for all modes and can interpret and disseminate information for practical application.
Communicate project progress to meet deliverables; Escalate quickly as necessary
Offer solutions for improving our tools and processes
Build rapport with project team and customer stakeholders
Anticipates internal and external challenges by understanding of processes
Successfully transfer knowledge to other relevant internal teams as well as provide support as needed
Leverage technical expertise and relationships to contribute to strategy and drive results
Supports the network with rights requests and coordination of training
Maintain recordkeeping
Required Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of programs
Minimum 1 year of project coordinator experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of Dangerous Goods regulations, IATA DGR, IMDG Code and 49 CFR
Strong decision making, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Excellent interpersonal communication (both written and verbal) skills
Ability to build and develop strong relationships and manage multiple internal and external stakeholders with competing priorities
Ability to adapt, learn and become proficient in multiple systems and detailed processes quickly
Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong ability to prioritize with little direction
Strong prioritization and time management skills
Proven ability to thrive in an ever-changing environment
Ability to manage deadlines and adapt to changing priorities

Compensation Range
