Position Summary:
Perlmutter Cancer Centers Lung Cancer Center has an exciting new position in our expanding Lung Cancer Screening Program. The Research Data Associate will be responsible for collecting and entering data across all screening sites, building and maintaining the Lung Cancer Screening Program database, working with the EPIC team to generate automated reports, and entering/uploading all data required for the American College of Radiology. Expansion of the Lung Cancer Screening program is a primary strategic aim for the Perlmutter Cancer Center. Supports clinical research, studies and general research under direct supervision. Works with School of Medicine and Medical Center staff and departments, including Directors, Managers, Clinical Information Systems, Research Nursing and Regulatory Services. May also interface with patients and their families.
Job Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have an Associate's degree plus one year related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Computer literate with good interpersonal, writing and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors degree, preferably in science, public health, health education or a related field. Prior experience in a health care settings and/or research level interviews. Prior patient education experience. RedCap database experience.
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
