GENERAL SUMMARY / OVERVIEW STATEMENT:
The Clinical Research Nurse (CRN) in collaboration with the physician investigator, is responsible for the implementation and conduct of clinical trials primarily in the Lymphoma program. The CRN has expert knowledge of the disease under study, treatment modalities, and the process of conducting clinical research, in particular interventional studies. The CRN functions as a member of both the research team as well as the clinical care team, acting as a liaison between the two entities. They collaborate with the care team to ensure that patients participating in clinical trials along with their families and loved ones receive comprehensive care to meet their physical, psychological, and social needs.
