He/she will assist the ASPE Principal Investigators and Directors and play a leading role in developing a cohesive research program in the advancement of the lead candidate molecules from the discovery phase to human trials. In the development stage, her/she will assess proposed projects by providing inter-groups coordination and harmonization across ASPE labs, including valuable input regarding viability, efficiency, timeline, and study design. In the implementation stage, he/she will supervise project development, provide effective input, implement automation and scale up, and train students and staff on these protocols across ASPE labs. This includes overseeing workflow, productivity, data collection, data analysis, and budgeting for novel platforms / methods. In the final stage he/she will focus on directing ASPE identified interventions into clinics. He/she will also be responsible for presenting program developments through various forums, internal and external meetings, and preparation of manuscripts and reports, as necessary. Provide intergroup coordination and harmonization across ASPE labs in respect to the internal translational intervention discovery pipeline, including valuable input regarding viability, efficiency, timeline, and study design.
Supervise project development, provide effective input, implement automation and scale up, and train students and staff on these protocols across ASPE labs. This includes designing experimental protocols, preparing supplies and reagents for procedures, and conducting experiments. This also encompasses overseeing workflow, productivity, data collection, data analysis, and budgeting for novel platforms / methods.
Provide operational support and train students and staff on this entity. This includes resource management: maintain stocks, reagents, records, and equipment required for experiments; order supplies and reagents
Direct ASPE identified interventions into clinics.
Seek external collaborations and external funding opportunities.
Presenting program developments through various forums, internal and external meetings, and preparation of manuscripts and
reports, as necessary.
Attend lab meetings, ASPE meetings, scientific talks, etc. to learn relevant biology and techniques.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
