The Kimpton Cottonwood is a historical gem of a hotel that has quickly became a hot spot in Omaha! Are you a hospitality professional looking to take the first step in your career in Revenue Management? We are looking for a Reservation Group Coordinator to join our dream team of hospitality professionals. Our Reservation Group Coordinator needs the desire to help put our hotel on the map as one of the best in the country.

The ideal candidate for this role is someone who is passionate about the guest experience and wants to learn and grow in Revenue Management.

Responsibilities

What you'll do...

  • Welcome all guests according to company standards, anticipate guest service needs.
  • Coordinate, balance, and block the hotel's guest room inventory and act as a liaison between Housekeeping, Front Office, Engineering and Sales Department.
  • Organize, confirm, and process all group room reservations, requests, changes, and cancellations.
  • Answer calls and emails!
  • Run the group pickup meeting with the Event Service Managers and Director of Revenue.
  • Assist the Director of Revenue with forecasting.

Qualifications

What you'll need...
  • Prefer prior Reservations or Front Office experience.
  • A degree in Hospitality/Tourism Management perferred
  • Accoutning and/or Finance background a plus
  • PROFICIENT IN MICROSOFT OFFICE
  • Knowledge of spreadsheet programming
  • Strong computer skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with the public and Team Members
