Positions are currently available for those who are 16 or older.

Qualifications

  • Entry level typing skills.
  • Computer skills with familiarity of Microsoft Office, data entry and spreadsheets.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Requires some previous office experience.
  • Previous park experience preferred.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs.
  • Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.
  • Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.

Responsibilities

As an Office Associate, SafetyGuest Service Excellence and Communication will be top priorities. This team plays a very important role in the overall success of the Retail division. Not every guest will enter through the office doors but all of our associates will and it will be your responsibility to welcome and meet their needs as quickly and efficiently as possible.

 

Additional responsibilities will include performing data entry and answering and logging all incoming calls. You will dispatch calls as needed to the appropriate personnel for expedient resolution or repair and meet and greet all associates, vendors, contractors, and guests upon office entry. You will assist by answering questions, providing directions, managing payroll and personnel information, processing documents and files and performing a wide variety of general office duties.

 

Office Assistants need to be high-energy, fast-paced, flexible team members to support the Division’s business operations.  If you are looking for a position that you can put your multi-tasking, customer service, and office skills to work, this is the position for you!

 

  • Sets up and maintains employee records and operational reports with accuracy and a high level of confidentiality.
  • Operates hand-held radio.
  • Maintains clear, concise and specific lines of communication and works closely with associates, management and guests.
  • Ability to help with associates scheduling and documentation.
  • Provides guest service according to Cedar Fair standards when serving the guest or working with subordinates, including initiating guest interactions, answering questions and giving directions.
  • Meets scheduling availability requirements, including nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.
  • Meets Cedar Fair's attendance requirements as outlined in Cedar Fair's attendance policies.
  • Adheres to Cedar Fair's Rules of Conduct including specific costuming and grooming standards as outlined in Employee Guidelines and other park/division specific policies and procedures.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
