Position Overview:

The Risk Process Lead will be responsible for monitoring the performance of the processes within the Risk Organization. This position is responsible for the development of tools to visualize the execution of the daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly processes and be the control owner of Key Controls. This role will also be the subject matter expert in process design and documentation of the Risk organization.

Responsibilities:

• Visualize the control processes in a Management Console to provide operational transparency
• Own the controls related to the Risk Function
• Maintain documentation required for process operation. Examples are Business Process Maps and Control Descriptions
• Report on organization effectiveness and promote continuous improvement
• Provide assurance to the CRO that the Risk organization is functioning as designed
• Design and maintain systems related to operational effectiveness of the Risk Function
• Provide Subject Matter Expertise on risk processes
• Ensure timely execution of Controls
• Update process documentation and develop organization standards

Experience and Qualifications Required:

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as accounting, economics, finance
• Minimum 10 Years of combined Risk and Accounting experience
• Ability to demonstrate competency in control operation
• Possess technical skills in data analytics and visualization tools

• Expert knowledge of Risk Processes
• Must be able to work in an office environment located in downtown, Houston, TX

Preferred Qualifications:

• Deep process management experience
• Proficiency in multiple coding languages

Masters degree in Business Administration, CPA, Computer Science, or Information Technology
