Basic Job Functions:

  • Operate Roll Former/Slitter, perform tooling set up and manage inventory tracking.
  • Quality inspections of material and finished parts within area.
  • Read and interpret shop drawings.
  • Perform tasks as directed by the line Supervisor or Group Leader.
  • Understand order processing (shop releases and run orders).


    • Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Previous machine operating experience
    • Previous manufacturing experience
