Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

Provides support to entire sales team, to assist in the acquisition and maintenance of new and existing customers.

REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES:

The following responsibilities are general duties that a particular employee in this position may or may not be required to perform. The actual duties required of this position will vary.

  • Answers phone for sales department and channels sales leads to appropriate Sales Representative.
  • Completes all documents, correspondence, etc. in a timely and accurate fashion. Ensures all documentation is complete, properly distributed and filed.
  • Produces various sales reports.
  • Responds to more complex customer inquiries in absence of Sales Representative, or Sales Manager.
  • Type's miscellaneous correspondence.
  • Depending upon department size and complexity, may provide assistance to other departments.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION:
  • Equivalent of high school diploma or G.E.D certification and 2 years experience as an Administrative Assistant or equivalent job duties.
  • Associate degree or some college level coursework.
  • Related training or certification.
  • Experience with confidential files, documents and other information.
  • Office equipment including, but not limited to, computer, phone, fax machine, copier and calculator.
  • MS Office including Word and Excel.
