The Sales Analyst will analyze sales data, provide insights and support the Non-Commercial and Commercial sales team in driving revenue growth by analyzing market trends, product volume, margin, competitive prices, strategies and provides recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze sales data and metrics to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for growth
- Identify and present opportunities to drive pricing accuracy, maximize gross margin profit, monitor areas of potential risk, and enhance the efficiency of existing pricing related processes.
- Update & audit Non-Commercial pricelists and freight rates as needed- external and internal
- Provide P&Ls and volume forecasts to ensure financial returns
- Develop KPI's and trends affecting Non-Commercial segment and suggest improvements based on finding
- Assist sales in contract negotiations, including items slated for price changes
- Maintain price comparisons, complete dual claim analyses
Basic & Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, preferably with an emphasis in finance, business, or related field
- 2+ years of business and/or analyst experience. 1-3 years of foodservice experience preferred
- Ability to understand and apply internal and external business drivers, strategies, metrics and budgeting to produce profitable business results
- Ability to facilitate, develop and implement comprehensive internal/external plans that deliver objectives
- Ability to perform complicated analyses using multiple sources of data, as well as advanced analysis required to support various teams in their pricing and trade decisions (e.g., structure the problem, collect data, identify issues and present results) with minimal direction
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stage projects to their completion
- Proficient in data tools (e.g., SAP, TPM, Salesforce, Tibersoft, Excel and Power BI tools).
- Demonstrated track record of thinking in new and imaginative ways, challenging the status quo, driving continuous improvement, and effectively managing change
- The ability to travel independently, valid U.S. drivers' license, and ability to meet Company driving standards.
- May have to travel up to 10% of the time.

A reasonable annual estimate of the range for this role based on the variables previously mentioned is: $74,230.00 - $111,320.00
