Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent business or technical education

- 5+ years experience in SE work with progressively increasing responsibilities Preferred Qualifications

- Demonstrated creativity in solving complex problems and a willingness to take ownership for resolving issues

- Ability to let new team members experiment and try new things to build confidence and collaboration within the organization

- Engaged, bringing a positive attitude and able to prioritize in a demanding sales environment

Responsibilities
The Sales Engineering (SE) Managerat Wrike plays an integral role in managing the daily activities of a team of Sales Engineers (individual contributors) and in coordinating their activities and acting as a focal point between the SE team and the sales. The SE manager is responsible for managing all facets of the sales engineering function from day-to-day work assignments, leading recruiting efforts, mentoring and developing new hires, and collaborating with the sales organization. The SE Manager ensures technical proficiency and professionalism in all interactions and the team takes complete ownership in all technical engagements to contribute to our organizational sales success. This position will report into the Global VP Sales Engineering.

Job Duties (include but not limited to)

- Ability to present to a mixed audience of technical and business owners and able to teach/mentor the team on how to expertly perform these presentations - Leadership in the sales cycle:It is expected that this person will be very adept at navigating the challenges of large and complex enterprise sales processes, providing guidance to individual sellers as well as consulting with sales leadership. They will also be able to strategize with multiple individual SEs on how to navigate their individual sales cycles.

- Leadership: The SE Manager supports the organizational sales needs and is a point of escalation for sales and SEs when challenges arise. They will need to exercise leadership and at times be prepared to take the lead on opportunities when needed to ensure sales success

- Managing, Recruiting, and Developing: Wrike is experiencing tremendous growth and this role will be responsible for recruiting top talent, developing those team members into solid contributors, and ensuring that they are progressively able to contribute to larger and more complex opportunities. This role will be responsible for continuous feedback to the team and deliver on recurring formal reviews to ensure the team knows areas of strength and areas of improvement.

- Strong Contribution to the SEOrganization: Show through example a collaborative approach to tacking new challenges. Motivate the team to think critically about how to overcome new obstacles and present creative solutions. - Resource Allocation: This role will be responsible for monitoring incoming requests, making assignments and ensuring there is a balanced workload for all SE team members.

- This role is exempt

- Ability to travel 25-40% (post COVID)
