Salesforce Administrator I, II, or Consultant
Seattle, WA; Portland, OR; Burlington, WA; Medford, OR; Lewiston, ID; Tacoma, WA; Salt Lake City, UT; Remote in WA, OR, UT, or ID

Responsible for supporting the feature development, enhancement and maintenance within the primary customer relationship management system (Salesforce.com). Support business process development and maintenance for employer group, consumer, and provider business segments to ensure the overall success and appropriateness of CRM functionality in support of corporate priorities and customer acquisition, service and retention strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Works with diverse business partners to create and maintain CRM technical solutions for Consumer, Employer Group, Provider and other Lines of Businesses/Cambia Divisions
  • Uses agile methodology and good judgement to advance and vet business solutions.
  • Researches, discerns, and apply evolving platform capabilities to solve business problems.
  • Identifies, develops and implements solutions to maintain and increase performance of the company's CRM / front end systems to achieve Sales and operational goals.
  • Recognizes the impact of one's solutions within a broad and complex CRM ecosystem and crafts them thoughtfully.
  • Uses the CRM Platform (Salesforce, Conga, DocuSign, Validity and other software) to advance business initiatives.
  • Builds deliverables using configuration tools.
  • Operates with autonomy, designing work plans, resources requirements and organizational strategies required to accomplish necessary analysis and decision making.
Additional Responsibilities for level II
  • Synthesizes new business subject matter efficiency to benefit internal and external customers.
  • Applies new concepts and techniques efficiently in solution development.
  • Manages scope creep and increasing or unanticipated complexity within initiatives. Able to hold a broad vision for phasing deliverables while working accurately, effectively and logically to plan and achieve them.
  • Recognizes and actualizes opportunities to employ new techniques in solutions delivery.
  • Solicits and uncovers internal and external customers unspoken business requirements and process gaps.
  • Routinely delivers solutions on time and with low incidence of work defects.
  • Utilizes platform configuration tools to build deliverables. Able to read code and may write code.
  • Innovates and prototypes comfortably and effectively.
  • May guide or oversee the work of teammates.
Additional Responsibilities for Consultant
  • Effectively operates among the broadest spectrum of business teams, delivery teams, platform vendors and Salesforce instances to design and deliver relevant solutions irrespective of prior experiences with the business function and business processes.
  • Recognized among colleagues as a CRM platform expert representing the Admin/Development team in cross-functional work groups performing prototyping, design, and platform maintenance. Provides guidance and knowledge to achieve desired business and technical outcomes.
  • Combines knowledge of the customer with evolving platform capabilities to achieve appreciably transformative results with broad impact.
  • Utilizes the broadest set of platform configuration tools and best coding practices to build deliverables.
  • Functions as a team lead as necessary. Directs work of junior team members for complex cross-team initiatives.
  • Viewed by colleagues as a source of knowledge with a deep level of Salesforce expertise.
  • Actively aids in estimating and sizing requests for services.
  • Monitors and address platform changes imposed by the CRM vendor assuring stability of platform functions.
  • Influences the staging of the Admin/Development team's work by considering balancing customer deliverables, platform maintenance and other factors.
Minimum Requirements
  • Salesforce Knowledge within the Lightning framework
  • Experience with Implementation of Salesforce App Exchange products.
  • Experience with all aspects of Salesforce Administration including customizing and implementing profiles, roles, security settings, shared rules, applications, custom objects, custom fields, page layouts, workflow, validation rules, approvals, reports and process builders.
  • Business aptitudes, including an understanding of business organizational aspects.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communications including the ability to synthesize information received in any form.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple projects and deadlines, including project management experience leading diverse and complex projects.
  • Ability to work independently as well as the ability to work within a team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively engage and incorporate ideas, feedback and perspectives from staff, leadership and other internal stakeholders regarding the CRM systems.
  • Demonstrated excellent analytical ability to identify problems, develop solutions, and implement chosen course of action.
  • Experience in working in agile environment.

  • Proficient Salesforce Administration dashboards and flows
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities to build solutions using the right tools.
  • Ability to facilitate communication between technical and business staff with the goal of finding the
  • best solutions to meet the business requirements of various projects
  • Ability to deal with concepts and complexity comfortably for work assigned.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly when faced with new situation.
  • Ability to use rigorous logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions and ability to see hidden problems.
Additional Minimum Requirements for Consultant
  • Proficient in building and troubleshooting Visualforce, Apex, Aura, and Lighting Web Components.
  • Proficient in writing unit tests for process builders, flows and Apex.
  • Ability to manage significant workload, set priorities, delegate work, manage conflict and to work efficiently under pressure meeting established deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interface and communicate with a broad array of internal and external contacts.
  • Ability to mentor and support co-workers and provide training to new team members.
  • Proven influence, interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills. Proven ability to work as part of a team, across teams, and with key business partners at all levels of the organization to troubleshoot and resolve problems.
  • Highly advanced analytical skills, ability to analyze complex situations, learn quickly and synthesize corresponding solutions, options and action plans.
  • Proven highly effective interpersonal skills and group motivator.
  • Effective communicator with demonstrable excellence in written and verbal communications. Ability to write executive and management level documents and make executive and management level presentations.
  • Project management experience leading diverse and complex projects.
Normally to be proficient in the competencies listed above:
  • Salesforce Administrator I would have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Engineering, Systems Analysis or related field and 3-5 years of experience in direct or industry related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Salesforce Admin Certification preferred
  • Salesforce Administrator II would have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Engineering, Systems Analysis or related field and 5-7 years of experience in direct or industry related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Salesforce Admin or Developer Certifications preferred
  • Salesforce Administrator and Consultant would have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Engineering, Systems Analysis or related field and 10 or more years of experience in direct or industry related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Salesforce Admin or Developer Certification required
