Responsibilities

How Will You Contribute to the Company?

As the Salesforce Administrator II, you will contribute to the design/build, and maintenance of the company Salesforce platform, and the integration of Salesforce with other company systems, and will interface with all departments to support their needs to promote efficient and effective utilization of Salesforce. The successful candidate will work cross-functionally with all departments to help to manage Stakeholder requirements and expectations.

This role will use their technical expertise to make important decisions that will affect the quality and the timely completion of both large and small projects. Along with the other members of the team, their contributions will make a lasting, positive impact that affects many areas of Cradlepoint business including Sales, Marketing, Support, and Operations.

What Will You Do?

  • Work with stakeholders to establish best-practice processes within company systems
  • Interface with all departments to assist and support their Salesforce usage and reporting needs
  • Customize the Salesforce platform utilizing declarative functionality. `
  • Self-motivated and able to work both with the team and independently from a remote location
  • Maintain integration functions of Salesforce with other company systems
  • Provide support in the evaluation, implementation, and utilization of Salesforce third-party add-on programs
  • Maintain current Salesforce data security model
  • Maintain Org security using Salesforce security tools and best practices.
  • Good understanding of Salesforce CRM process defaults and data structures
  • Detail oriented with strong problem-solving and organization skills
  • Listen to customer feedback, recognizes opportunities, and provide feedback for technical innovation
  • Assist in providing advice and guidance to less experienced team members
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Can work cross-functionally with members in all departments
  • Experience with software development management platforms (e.g., Jira)
  • Able to work designing, configuring, and customizing Salesforce according to technical specifications
  • Join the team in developing and maintaining proper documentation of Salesforce configuration and development efforts
  • Maintain knowledge of all current Salesforce features and releases
  • Work with the administrators from other functional groups to ensure that Salesforce is properly configured and integrated with outside systems including Marketo and D365

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
  • BA/BS or equivalent related experience plus three to five (3-5) years of related experience
  • Two (2+) years of Salesforce administration experience at or above level II
  • Salesforce Administrator certification
  • Salesforce Advanced Administrator certification
  • Experience with data modeling, custom objects, permissions, SOQL queries
  • Good understanding of MS applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio
  • Experience utilizing Salesforce Security tools including Shield, Data Mask, and Customer 360
Bonus Points:
  • An understanding of Apex and Visualforce
  • Previous experience working in IS
  • Previous experience working within a user focus area including Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Support
