Baer is looking for SAP IS Automotive Consultant for a 8+ month Remote project.

Title: SAP IS Automotive Consultant
Location: Remote (Must be based in US)
Duration: 8+ Months
Rate: Hourly Plus Expenses Reimbursed
Alignment: W2 or C2C

Responsibilities:

• Lead the Brownfield migration from SAP ECC to S/4HANA, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Implement and configure SAP IS Auto solutions, including VMS, PPDS, iPPE, and AIF, within the S/4HANA environment.
• Ensure seamless integration of SAP systems with existing IT infrastructure and third-party applications.
• Analyze current automotive business processes and identify opportunities for improvement and optimization in the S/4HANA environment.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality in automotive manufacturing and supply chain operations.
• Provide recommendations for process reengineering and system enhancements.
• Manage and deliver the SAP migration project within scope, budget, and timeline.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, production, engineering, and supply chain, to ensure successful project execution.
• Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders.
• Provide day-to-day technical support for SAP IS Auto solutions during and after the migration.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.
• Collaborate with SAP support and development teams to implement fixes and updates.
• Develop and deliver training programs for end-users and stakeholders on new S/4HANA functionalities and processes.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including system configurations, process workflows, and user manuals.
• Ensure knowledge transfer and support for ongoing system maintenance.
• Ensure all SAP implementations and configurations comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
• Support compliance audits and maintain necessary documentation.

Required Experience:

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in SAP consulting, with a focus on the automotive industry.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP ECC and S/4HANA, specifically in VMS, PPDS, iPPE, and AIF.
• Proven experience in Brownfield migrations from ECC to S/4HANA.
• Strong understanding of automotive industry standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
