Baer is looking for SAP IS Utilities SME for a 2-month Federal project located in Detroit, MI.

Title: SAP IS Utilities SME
Location: Detroit, MI - 50 to 70% Onsite
Duration: 2+ months
Rate: Hourly Plus Expenses Reimbursed
Alignment: W2 or C2C

Description:

• Lead and manage processes for Contracted Sales for Commercial & Industrial (C&I) customers.
• Oversee Voluntary Subscription services for the mass market, ensuring smooth customer enrollment and management.
• Support Community Programs, including billing and customer management processes for renewable and energy community initiatives.
• Manage and configure Charges and Credits systems, ensuring accurate billing for customers across various programs.
• Lead efforts in Bill Presentment, including the design, configuration, and optimization of customer-facing billing documentation.
• Administer processes for tracking and managing Renewable Energy Credits (RECs), ensuring compliance with regulatory and market requirements.
• Facilitate the transfer of energy between portfolios to optimize renewable energy goals, ensuring accurate and efficient energy management.
• Implement and manage Nodal Pricing systems for energy settlements.
• Oversee energy pricing in MISO (Midcontinent Independent System Operator) and Non-MISO regions, ensuring accurate settlement processes.
• Conduct detailed Sales Planning analysis, providing insights into projected sales, consumption patterns, and customer behavior.
• Perform comprehensive Revenue Analysis to ensure alignment between generation, consumption, billing, and settlements, identifying areas for improvement.

Requirements:

• Experience working with SAP IS-U in the utilities sector.
• Proven experience in Lead to Cash, Unified Billing, Energy Revenue Settlement, and Renewable Energy management processes.
• Expertise in working with C&I customers, mass market programs, community programs, and renewable energy goals.
• Strong understanding of Nodal Pricing, MISO/Non-MISO pricing mechanisms, and revenue settlement.
• Ability to analyze complex generation, consumption, billing, and settlement data for strategic planning and decision-making.
• Bachelor's Degree.
